Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Pianomania (operated by VERINO SERVICE LC, 502 4th St NW, Ste 102, Albuquerque, NM 87102, USA) collects, why, and what your rights are. The data controller is VERINO SERVICE LC.

1. Data we collect

• Account: email address (authentication handled by Supabase) and subscription status.
• Usage: history of generated pieces (title/link, level, date) to display your space.
• Submitted content: the audio/MIDI files or links you provide are processed transiently to produce the transcription, then the source audio is deleted; we do not keep the original recording.
• Payment: handled by Whop. We do not store your card data.
• Technical data: logs and session data strictly necessary for operation and security.

2. Purposes and legal bases

• Provide the Service and manage your account/subscription — performance of the contract.
• Security, fraud prevention and improvement of the Service — legitimate interest.
• Compliance with our legal obligations — legal obligation.

We do not sell your data and do not run targeted advertising.

3. Providers (processors)

• Supabase — authentication and database.
• Vercel — hosting of the web application.
• Modal — audio processing / transcription.
• Klangio, LALAL.AI — transcription / audio separation engines.
• Whop — payment and subscription management.

4. International transfers

VERINO SERVICE LC is established in the United States and some providers may process data outside your country (notably in the United States). These transfers are framed by appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) where the law requires it.

5. Retention

The source audio is deleted after processing. Account data and history are kept as long as your account is active, then deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time after the account is closed (unless a legal retention obligation applies).

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access control, secret isolation) to protect your data. No system, however, is infallible.

7. Cookies

We use only cookies/identifiers strictly necessary for operation (login session, language preference). No advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (notably the GDPR in the EU/UK), you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data. To exercise them, write to contact@mypianomania.com; we respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within 30 days). You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority in your country.

9. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request its deletion or correction, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. To make a request, contact contact@mypianomania.com.

10. Minors

The Service is not intended for children under 16 without parental consent. If you believe a minor has provided us with data without such consent, contact us for deletion.

11. Changes

This policy may change. In the event of a material change, we will inform you by a reasonable means and update the date above.
